2-11-24 Update

Hey everyone. Hope you all are doing well. We have heard of so many friends and family members getting sick with all different kinds of bugs. We are praying for your health and healing if that's you.

Thank you to everyone that came to the Valentine Banquet on Saturday and thank you to everyone who donated money, items for the banquet, food, and time to prepare. We are so overly blessed. God is awesome.

This week has been a pretty good week. Having a vehicle makes you feel so much better after not having one for over a month. We take stuff like that for granted in the states.

The kids had an up and down. Well again. This time both kids struggle one day or another. I wrote I love you on their hands every day in hopes to ease their nerves. They will start tutoring and Spanish lessons on the 18th. So hopefully that will help to lessen the nerves and anxiety with school. It'll also help lessen the load on Ryan and I when it comes to homework with them. Pray they have a better week emotionally, please.

Ryan and I start back to Spanish classes tomorrow. We will be attending classes three days a week with our Spanish teacher that we worked with via zoom last year. We are so excited to get started again. Prayers for us that God helps our brains and mouths to work well and learn quickly.

We did go to a restaurant this weekend and I spoke all Spanish without using Google translate...pretty proud of myself with that one.

In other news...we joined y'all a little bit in Super Bowl food. We made homemade nachos tonight for dinner along with Gallo pinto (rice and beans). See the picture below.

And a HUGE CELEBRATION...Sarah tried the potty tonight for the first time and went pee. 🎉🥳🤩 We are so excited for her and hopefully we can start working more on potty training with her. It would be fabulous to have a potty trained 1 year old.

Love and prayers for everyone this week.
