06-30-24 Update

Sorry it has been a few weeks. We have had all kinds of bad luck lately but that's okay! Ryan had food poisoning 2 weeks ago (he is recovered), then last Friday, Josiah got sick followed by the girls getting sick Saturday and Sunday. We took all three kids to the pediatrician here and they all had the flu. Needless to say, when you take care of the kids, you'll probably get it too. AND I DID but not Ryan! Everyone is fever free and Sarah and Hannah seem to be doing the best but Siah and I still have pretty rough coughs. Definitely prayers for healing from this mess, please, before we head to the states for a visit.

We had to postpone our door to door in San Juan de Limay until, Lord willing, Saturday July 6th. We hope to visit at least 20 houses while we are there but God has a plan! Prayers for the sharing of the Gospel and for us to build relationships in the community and church.

We ask that you pray for our water supply, we have probably had city water for maybe 1 or 2 days in the last week and a half. I have only done 3 loads in the last week or so and typically I try to do one a day. (A family of 5 makes a lot of laundry!!) We rely on our holding tank on the days we don't have water but there isn't enough water pressure to use the washing machine and I don't have the energy thanks to the flu to hand wash right now!!

Praise report...Hannah and Josiah took their end of grade homeschool assessments and passed with flying colors!! So they will be moving on to 3rd and 4th grade next year!!

We also ask for Prayers as next week on Monday we will head to Managua to start our journey to North Carolina for a 3 week visit!
